Remuneration schedule

In 2012 a new remuneration schedule came into effect. This applies to all new appointments with effect from 01.01.2012. Classification of staff is determined by the job characteristics of the remuneration table. Staff receive payment according to the pay grade to which they are assigned.

For all staff employed before the remuneration schedule came into effect, i.e. prior to 01.01.2012, inclusion in the pay grades of the Public Sector Collective Agreement in accordance with annexes 2 and 4 of the Public Sector Collective Agreement for Berlin Universities (TV-L Berliner Hochschulen) continues to apply as long as there is no change regarding the position. Staff transferred to the Public Sector Collective Agreement for Berlin Universities were informed by Personnel of this at the time of the transfer in 2011.

Personnel management (III PW) is responsible for calculations based on the remuneration schedule.
